Mount Olive-Silverstone-Jamestown is a far-northwest Etobicoke community in the heart of Rexdale, clustered around Kipling and Finch. It is one of the most densely populated and ethnically diverse parts of the city — a high-rise apartment community built largely in the postwar decades, home to large South Asian, Caribbean, African and Middle Eastern populations. The character is residential, family-heavy and intensely multicultural.

Bounded by Highways 27 and 427 and close to Pearson Airport, the area is car-and-bus oriented; TTC routes along Finch, Kipling and Albion connect to the Line 1 Finch West stations and the LRT to the east. Albion Mall (Albion Centre) and the surrounding plazas serve as the commercial and social hub, and the Humber River and Smithfield green spaces provide recreation. It is a working-class community defined by affordability and strong community networks.

Condo and apartment stock is overwhelmingly the older high-rise towers that define the skyline here, offering some of the lowest-priced multi-family housing in Toronto. New condo development is minimal, so the market is resale and rental within postwar buildings. Buyers are predominantly large families, first-time owners and yield-focused investors drawn by deep affordability and transit access.
