East End-Danforth Condos

Leafy Upper Beaches streets where the Danforth meets the east-end lakeshore.

About East End-Danforth

East End-Danforth — often called the Upper Beaches or East Danforth — climbs the slope north of Kingston Road between Victoria Park and Main, a leafy grid of Edwardian and wartime houses rising from the Danforth retail strip. It carries a quieter, family-first version of the Beaches energy: tree-canopied side streets, a tight-knit village feel, and the lake and boardwalk an easy walk or roll downhill to the south.

It is one of the best-served pockets in the east end — Main Street and Victoria Park stations on Line 2 bracket it, the 506 Carlton streetcar runs along Gerrard, and Danforth GO offers a fast Lakeshore East run downtown. The crowd is solidly families and professionals who want the transit, the schools and the village shops while keeping a foot in the Beaches lifestyle.

Condos are a modest but growing slice — mid-rise buildings along Danforth and Kingston Road rather than towers, suiting downsizers and first-time buyers. Pricing sits in the east end's mid band, a step below the Beaches proper but lifted by the transit access and the family-friendly streets.
