Distillery District Condos

Cobblestone heritage, galleries and the Christmas Market.

About Distillery District

The Distillery District is one of Toronto's most distinctive places to live — a pedestrian-only enclave of Victorian industrial buildings that once formed the Gooderham & Worts whisky distillery, the largest in the world in its day. Restored as a car-free arts-and-culture quarter, it's all cobblestone lanes, restored red brick, galleries, design studios, breweries and the annual Toronto Christmas Market that draws crowds from across the city.

Condos here ring the heritage core: a mix of architecturally ambitious newer towers and lofts along Front Street East, Mill Street and Cherry Street, many designed to echo the brick-and-beam character of the district. The neighbourhood sits between the Don River and the downtown core, with the West Don Lands and Corktown Common parkland to the east and the revitalized East Bayfront waterfront to the south.

Buyers are drawn to the texture and walkability — this is a neighbourhood with a genuine sense of place, rare in a city of glass towers. The 504 King and 514 Cherry streetcars connect to the core, and the Distillery Loop puts transit at the doorstep. Pricing reflects the design pedigree and the lifestyle, and the area's events calendar keeps rental demand strong year-round.
